Tallest Man in the World

Genius World Record officially announced a Turkish citizen Sultan Kosen as the tallest man in the world. Sultan Kosen is officially measured 8ft 1inch in height. Sultan Kosen was born in 1983 in Turkey. Sultan is a farm laborer Sultan took the title of world’s tallest man from Metro’s long-standing hero Bao Xishun that was beaten out with 10cm by Sultan Kosen. Bao Xishun was world’s tallest man till 17^th September 2009 and was measured at 7ft 8 inches (2.36) meters. On September 17^th Sultan Kosen broke the record of Bao Xishun by difference of 10 cm and was measured at 8ft 1.2 inch (2.47) meters. Sultan Kosen has also world record of largest hands and feet.

Sultan Kosen height = 8ft 1.2 inch (2.36 meters) 

Largest Hands          = 27.5 cm

Largest Feet              = 36.5 cm
